In response to a request made by the Officer In-charge of Blood bank of General Hospital Trincomalee, from Acting Commodore Superintendent of Health (E), a blood donation campaign was conducted at Eastern Naval Command Hospital-Trincomalee, yesterday (8th February).

Group Captain Sean Unvin who was appointed as the Defence Advisor of the Australian High Commission in Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe at the Naval Headquarters, Colombo today (9 February).

Upon receipt of a distress call of a fire erupted at the Samson Reclaim Rubbers Ltd.

The two ships of the Bangladesh Navy ‘Ali Haider’ and ‘Nirmul’ which arrived at the port of Colombo on 07 February on a goodwill visit, left the Colombo harbour on successful completion of their tour events today (09 February).
