Eastern Naval command holds a blood donation campaign
In response to a request made by the Officer In-charge of Blood bank of General Hospital Trincomalee, from Acting Commodore Superintendent of Health (E), a blood donation campaign was conducted at Eastern Naval Command Hospital-Trincomalee, yesterday (8th February).
The campaign, intended to provide urgent requirement of the blood bank of General Hospital Trincomalee, was organized as per the guidance of Commander Eastern Naval Command Rear Admiral Nimal Sarathsena under the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe.
Making the campaign a success, more than 50 Naval blood donors voluntarily participated in it.
