Navy renders assistance to douse fire at rubber factory
 

Upon receipt of a distress call of a fire erupted at the Samson Reclaim Rubbers Ltd. in Bogahagoda yesterday (08 February) two teams of SLN firefighters were swiftly dispatched to the location to control the blaze. Accordingly, the SLN firemen assisted to completely extinguish the fire on the factory premises.

Two officers and 12 sailors attached to the Southern Naval Command were engaged to assist this strenuous fire fighting mission that finally prevented flames raging out of control throughout the factory.
