New Squash Court declared open at SLNS Barana
 

The new Squash Court constructed with all modern facilities at SLNS Barana was declared open by the Commander North Western Naval Command, Rear Admiral Rasika Dissanayake, today (15^th January).

In parallel to the opening occasion, an exhibit match was played by the Deputy Area Commander of North Western Naval Command, Commodore Gunasiri Jayathilake and Senior Electrical and Electronic Engineering Officer (NW) Lieutenant Commander (L) Sanjeewa Perera. This indoor Squash Court will be a great asset to brush up the skills of naval personnel who have already joined and wish to join in this interesting game in the future too.

Commanding Officer of SLNS Barana Captain (NP) Jalaj Ponnamperuma, Heads of Departments, Other officers and  many sailors attended the occasion.
