Person nabbed with 67 turtle eggs
 

Based on information received by the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command combined with STF personnel in Sardhapura nabbed a person for possessing 67 turtle eggs, during a search conducted in the beach area of Erakkandi yesterday (14 January).

The apprehended suspect along with turtle eggs was handed over to the Department of Wildlife in Nilaweli for onward investigations.
