Lieutenant Commander Saliya Hemachandra(H) takes over command of SLNS Hansaya
 

Lieutenant Commander Saliya Hemachandra(H) assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s passenger craft, SLNS Hansaya yesterday (10^th January).

The command of the ship was handed over to the new Commanding Officer by the former Commanding Officer Lieutenant Commander Dammika Jayawardena(G) at the Nicolson cove Jetty premises in Trincomalee. Captain Sea Training, Captain Pradeep Rathnayake was also present at the occasion. The Handing over-Taking over process was concluded by an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
