VNF annual camp begins in Welisara
 

In parallel with the 66^th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Volunteer Naval Force (VNF), the annual camp of volunteer naval personnel commenced at SLNS Lanka in Welisara yesterday (04 January). Commander Western Naval Area and Commandant VNF, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle attended this occasion as the Chief Guest.

Further, a host of senior naval officers including the Commanding Officer VNF, Commodore Jayarathna Wijekoon and a large number of senior and junior sailors were present on this occasion. The annual camp is scheduled to be held until 18 January.
