Navy hands over Ceremonial Guard at President House to Air Force
 

Sri Lanka Navy officially handed over the customary duty of Ceremonial Guard at the President House to the Sri Lanka Air Force with effect from 01 January 2018. Navy undertook the same duty from Sri Lanka Army on 01 October last year.

This Ceremonial Guard was carried out by SLNS Parakrama under the supervision of its Commanding Officer, Captain Anil Bowatte. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Commander (G) Chandima Shantha performed duty as the Officer in Charge of this traditional duty.
