Navy Marines render assistance to restore communities’ life in Panwila
 

The household chores of the residents in Panwila area in Kalutara had been severely hampered as a result of area-wide blackout due to trees fallen on power lines and roads following inclement weather.

Responding to the emergency situation, a team of Navy Marines was deployed in the affected region today (02 December) to step-up relief work. Accordingly, the Navy Marines are currently clearing the roads and removing big trees and branches that had been fallen on power lines, enabling swift restoration of communities’ life in the area.
