New Navy Commander calls on CDS
 

Vice Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe, who assumed duties as the 22^nd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, called on the Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Office of the CDS today (01 November 2017).

The Chief of Defence Staff extended his best wishes to the new Commander of the Navy during the cordial meeting that ensued. Mementos were also exchanged to mark Vice Admiral Ranasinghe’s first official meeting with the CDS after assuming command of the SLN.
