Commander of the Navy calls on Defence Secretary
 

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe called on the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Kapila Waidyaratne, PC, at the Ministry of Defence today (01^st November 2017).

During the cordial interaction, the Defence Secretary extended his best wishes to Vice Admiral Ranasinghe who assumed duties as the 22^nd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. The cordial discussions culminated with an exchange of mementoes. This also marked the Commander of the Navy’s first official meeting with the Defence Secretary upon assuming office.
