New Commander of the Navy calls on State Minister of Defence
 

Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, who assumed duties as the 22^nd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, called on the State Minister of Defence, Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene at the Ministry of Defence today (31^st October 2017).

During the cordial discussions held, the State Minister of Defence conveyed his best wishes to the new Navy Commander on his appointment. A special memento was also presented to the Minister by the Commander of the Navy to mark his first official call-on upon assumption of duties.
