Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the 20th Junior Naval Staff Course
 

The certificate awarding ceremony of the twentieth Junior Naval Staff Course (20^th JNSC) was held at the Admiral Wasanatha Karannagoda Auditorium of the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee on 27^th October 2017. The Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Nimal Sarathsena graced the occasion as the chief guest. The ceremony commenced with a welcome address made by the Commandant Naval and Maritime Academy, Commodore Kassapa Paul. It was followed by the course brief made by the JNSC Coordinator and Deputy Training Captain, Captain Chandima Silva. The vote of thanks was delivered by the Training Captain, Captain Nalindra Jayasinghe. The ceremony was followed by a reception held at the Eastern Naval Command Wardroom.

Sixteen officers including an officer each from the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka Air Force followed the 20^th JNSC. The following officers received the awards and trophies from the chief guest for their excellence performance during the course.
