Commander of the Navy attends Sea Power Conference - 2017 in Australia
The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah attended the International Conference, Sea Power – 2017 organized by the Royal Australian Navy in Australia. The biennial conference was held from 03rd to 05th of this month at the International Convention Centre Sydney located in Darling Harbour for the 10th time.
Vice Admiral Sinniah attended this year’s conference at the invitation of the Chief of the Royal Australian Navy, Vice Admiral TW Barratt. The Commander of the Navy was accompanied by the Naval Assistant, Captain Anura Dhanapala during the tour.
This year’s conference which was participated by 21 nations was held under the theme ‘Navy and the Nation’. Meanwhile, Vice Admiral Sinniah also took part in the Pacific International Maritime Exposition and the International Maritime Conference held in parallel with this dialogue.
