12th Intake of SLN Oriental Music Band & Cultural Troupe pass out on successful completion of training
 

34 personnel belonging to the 12th Intake of the Sri Lanka Navy Oriental Music Band and Cultural Troupe passed out at the SLNS Gemunu in Welisara yesterday (29 September 2017) on successful completion of their Phase III training.

The Commanding Officer of SLNS Gemunu, Commodore Ranjith Premarantne attended the event as the chief guest. A spectacular dance and singing display presented by the 12th Intake navy personnel showcasing their talents and skills added colour to the occasion.

The award for the Best Recruit was won by NDDV Nikavenna while SS Rukunayake won the award for the Recruit with the Highest Aggregate in all subjects. The Director of Music, Commodore Jude Peiris, senior naval officers and a large number of naval personnel were also present on the occasion.
