Commander of the Navy declares open Senior Sailors’ Married Quarters Complex in Welisara
 

The newly constructed Senior Sailors’ Married Quarters Complex was declared open by the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah at the Naval Complex Welisara today (22 September 2017). This married quarters complex consisting of 08 houses is equipped with all modern amenities.

The four-storey complex was constructed by the civil engineering personnel of the navy. Signifying this important occasion, the Commander of the Navy planted a tree sapling on the premises as well.

The occasion was also attended by the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Thiruni Sinniah, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle, Director Generals of the Navy, senior naval officers and sailors who received houses and their family members.
