Navy arrests 03 Indians with a consignment of banned insecticide
 

During a special operation carried out on information received, naval personnel attached to the North-Central Naval Command arrested 03 Indian nationals attempting to smuggle in a consignment of banned insecticide in the seas 33 nautical miles west of Kudiramalai yesterday (01 September 2017).

The arrested persons along with 1,125 kilogrammes of Ammonium salt of glyphosate and an Indian dhow used for the illegal act were handed over to Talaimannar Police for legal action.
