Navy Commander pays courtesy call on Field Marshal Fonseka
 

Vice Admiral Travis Sinniah, who assumed duties as the 21^st Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, paid a courtesy call on Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka at the Ministry of Regional Development today (01 September 2017).

Filed Marshal Fonseka, who is also the Minister of Regional Development, conveyed his best wishes to Vice Admiral Sinniah, wishing him success in all his endeavours as the new chief of the SLN. On conclusion of the cordial discussions that ensued, a special memento was also presented by the Commander of the Navy to mark his first official meeting with the Field Marshal after assuming office in his new post.
