British High Commissioner meets Commander North-Central Naval Area
 

The British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, His Excellency James Dauris met the Commander North Central Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe at the North Central Naval Command Headquarters today (30 August 2017).

The British High Commissioner was warmly welcomed by the North Central Naval Area Commander according a token guard. They held cordial discussions and exchanged mementos to mark the visit. The British High Commissioner, who was visiting Mannar, had taken the opportunity to view the picturesque lighthouse and the old railway line lying inside the naval base in Talaimannar.
