Navy renders assistance to nab 4 suspects attempted to sell 4 copper plates by illegal means
 

On receipt of intelligence information to the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command in coordination with Police Special Task Force nabbed 4 suspects who attempted to sell 4 copper plates with historic value, during a search carried out today (22 August 2017).

The copper plates were apprehended while they were being transferred in the general area in between Dodangada and Neboda, by a tipper truck. The value of the apprehended copper plates is approximately estimated to be hundred million rupees. The suspects together with the tipper truck and copper plates were handed over to the Police Special Task Force for onward legal action.
