Three Indian fishermen arrested for poaching in Sri Lankan territorial waters
 

A Fast Attack Craft attached to the Northern Naval Command arrested 3 Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler for poaching in the Sri Lankan territorial waters, about 13 nm northwest of the Delft Island last night (July, 24).

Having brought the arrested trawler and fishing gear to SLNS Elara in Kareinagar and Indian fishermen to SLNS Uththara in Kankesanthurei, they are due to be handed over to the Jaffna Assistant Director of Fisheries for onward legal action.
