‘Sayurusara’ completes 10 years; 33rd edition launched
 

The first copy of the 33rd edition of ‘Sayurusara’ magazine which encompasses articles of the naval personnel, was presented to the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne by the Chief Editor of the magazine Lieutenant Commander Ruwan Premaweera at the Naval Headquarters today (July, 24). Signifying an important milestone in its history, this edition of the magazine marked the 10th anniversary of the publication.

Naval Assistant, Deputy Director Naval Research Wing and Patron of ‘Sayurusara’, Captain Rohan Joseph and Navy Media Coordinator, Lieutenant Commander Chaminda Walakuluge were also present on the occasion. Along with the able guidance provided by the Commander of the Navy, ‘Sayurusara’ is published quarterly, in a bid to broaden knowledge, attitudes and aesthetic values of the naval personnel. The magazine also comprises articles written on a range of community service projects and other affairs carried out by the Navy.
