Commander of the Navy pays courtesy call on new Secretary of Defence
 

The Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Kapila Waidyaratne at the Ministry today (July, 11). During their inaugural official meeting, the Commander of the Navy conveyed his best wishes to the newly appointed Secretary of Defence and pledged his continuous support for the success of ministerial decisions.  

Thereupon, they held cordial discussions and shared a couple of views on matters of organizational interest and specially the Navy’s role in preservation of the national security. To signify this occasion, mementoes were also exchanged.
