Two persons nabbed with 11 kg of Kerala Cannabis
 

On receipt of intelligence information to the Navy, naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command together with Peliyagoda Police nabbed two suspects with 11 kg of Kerala Cannabis, during a search conducted at Kalu Palama, 4th Mile Post in Peliyagoda today (July, 05). The consignment of cannabis was arrested when it was being transferred for trade.

The navy has been vigilant around the clock in order bust illegal dug rackets over the past few years.

The arrested suspects and cannabis were handed over to the Peliyagoda Police for onward legal action.
