Outgoing Defence Attaché to the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka calls on Commander of the Navy
The outgoing Defence Attaché to the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka, Colonel Irshad Khan called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters today (June, 23). He made this courtesy call on the eve of his termination of tenure as the Pakistan Defence Attaché in Sri Lanka.
During this meeting, they held cordial discussions on a range of matters of mutual interests and bilateral importance. Moreover, the Commander of the Navy appreciated the outgoing DA's assistance rendered especially in coordinating the disaster relief aid, partnering with the Pakistan Government and Navy during recent devastation caused by floods and landslides in Sri Lanka. Further, Vice Admiral Wijegunaratne conveyed his best wishes to Colonel Irshad Khan for his future endeavours. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the significance of the event.
