Pakistan Navy Chief calls on Hon. Prime Minister
 

The Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, who is currently in Sri Lanka, called on the Prime Minister Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Temple Trees, Colombo today (June,14). The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne was also present at this occasion.

During the cordial discussion, the Hon. Prime Minister and Pakistan Navy Chief recalled the longstanding relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and reiterated the need of further strengthening of existing relations. The cordial discussions came to an end with the exchange of mementoes to signify this occasion.

Secretary to the Prime Minister, Mr. Saman Ekanayake, Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, HE Dr. Safraz Ahmed Khan Sipra, Principal Secretary to the Chief of the Naval Staff, Commodore Javaid Iqbal and Defence Attaché to the Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka Colonel Irshad Khan were also present at this significant event.
