Navy provides medical relief for displaced at Pitabeddara
Navy conducted a medical clinic for those affected by the recent flash floods, at Patabeddara area today (30). The clinic held at Sri Dumindaramaya temple, provided the displaced community with much needed basic medical care advice and treatment.
So far, the Navy has provided medical assistance to over 1405 displaced persons in the Matara, Galle, Kaluthara and Rathnapura districts in addition to the rescue and relief operations that are presently underway.
The noble endeavor was initiated on the directives of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne.
