Forty two (42) Naval Artificer apprentices of 13th Artificer Intake pass out in Welisara
After the successful completion of their basic training, forty two (42) Naval Artificer Apprentices belonging to the 13th Artificer Intake of the Sri Lanka Navy passed out at the parade ground of the Naval Institute of Technology at SLNS Thakshila, Welisara yesterday (26). Director General Engineering, Rear Admiral Rohitha Premasiri graced this occasion as the Chief Guest and took the salute.
In recognition of the excellent skills and performances displayed during the course of study, the following sailors were awarded with certificates and awards;

The vivid cultural display presented by the Navy cultural troupe, on completion of the passing out ceremony, attracted the attention of the crowd who witnessed this customary naval ceremony. Venerable Maha Sangha, other religious dignitaries, Senior Officers, sailors, parents and near and dear ones of the passed out Artificer Apprentices were present on the occasion.
