Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool records a number of victories at ‘Trinco Blu by Cinnamon Sailing Championship – 2017’
 

The Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Pool recorded a number of victories at the Sailing Regatta, ‘Trinco Blu by Cinnamon Sailing Championship – 2017’ organized by the Royal Colombo Yacht Club in Nilaweli , Trincomalee on 12th and 13th May 2017.

Fifty competitors along with 44 sailing yachts representing various sailing clubs in the country took part in series of events in which sailors secured a number of victories as follows;

•        1st to 7th places – in the open event

•        1st to 5th places – in the enterprise event

•        Many places including 1st and 2nd - in the laser event

The Challenge Trophy of the event was clinched by Chief Petty Officer WAR Nishantha.
