Navy’s concern over ailing daughter of naval Petty Officer

The daughter of naval Petty Officer WG Wickramasuriya is suffering from long term illness and face with quite a number of difficulties when she is visiting hospitals and clinics to receive medical treatment  for her ailments over the years. Upon bringing these struggles to the attention of the Commander of the Navy, the Navy Welfare Unit decided to donate a three-wheeler for the sailor in order to mitigate the burden he encounter.

Accordingly, the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne presented the cheque in this regard to the senior sailor, in order to purchase a three-wheeler, at the Naval Headquarters today (20).
