Navy renders assistance to transfer wounded person for immediate medical treatment
 

On receipt of an information to the Coastal Observation Point, (COP) Pukkulam, the Navy rendered assistance to rush a wounded person for immediate medical treatment at the Silawathura Hospital today (12).

The person was identified as a resident in Pukkulam and was in critical condition due to a head injury. Responding swift to the occasion, the Navy dispatched a patrolling craft and rushed the injured person to the hospital.
