Two books on psychology authored by Lieutenant Gunawardena launched
 

Family is the Supreme Bliss ‘පවුල ලොවේ උතුම්ම සම්පතයි’ and Practical Psychological Diagnosis ‘ප්‍රායෝගික මනෝ චිකිත්සාව’ two books authored by Lieutenant Vishanka Gunawardena were launched at the Admiral Somathilake Dissanayaka Auditorium at the Naval Headquarters today (12). Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Senior Lecturer Shanthi Kuma Hettiarachchi attended the launching ceremony as the Guest of Honour.

Addressing the gathering Senior Lecturer Shanthi Kuma Hettiarachchi, appreciated the dedication and commitment shown by Lieutenant Gunawardena for compiling books of this nature addressing some desperate issues in the social fabric. Further, he stressed the importance of naval personnel inculcating the habit of writing and broading the knowledge through reading and research.

Director Generals, senior officers from the Navy and Army and sailors were also present at the occasion.
