A joint raid by Navy and Police takes 2 persons in to custody with 8.275 kg of Kerala Cannabis
 

On receipt of information to the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command in coordination with Mulankavil Police arrested 2 persons for having 8.275 kg of Kerala Cannabis in their possession. The joint raid was carried out in the general area of Mulankavil, Kilinochchi today (1).

The suspects and the stock of cannabis were handed over to the Mulankavil Police for further legal action. The Navy also apprehended a person with 4.2 kg of Kerala Cannabis in Mannar this morning.
