Navy clinches overall championship at Air Force cycle race
 

Able Seaman Aviska Medona of the Sri Lanka Navy, secured the overall championship at the Air Force Cycle Race 2017, organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force for the 18^th time. The race was flagged off on 3rd of May and consisted of 3 legs covering a total distance of 415 km.

Apart from the above achievement, Leading Seaman Hemantha Kumara won the first place in the second stage of the race. Meanwhile, Able Seaman Aviska Medonsa also managed to become the Best Young Cyclist and the winner of the 3rd stage of the race.
