A person is apprehended with prescription drugs in his possession
 

On receipt of intelligence information, naval personnel attached to SLNS Prakrama in Colombo belonging to the Western Naval Command apprehended a suspect with 100 tablets of prescription drug (Tramadol) in his possession, yesterday (7).

The medicine which is also used as an abused drug by some people, was arrested when the suspect was transferring them by a three wheeler. The drugs were expected to be distributed in Colombo area. The arrested person, stock of tablets and three wheeler were handed over to the Pettah Police for onward investigations.
