Bangladesh Coast Guard Ship ‘Tajuddin’ arrives at the Port of Trincomalee
The Bangladesh Coast Guard Ship ‘Tajuddin’ arrived at the Port of Trincomalee on a goodwill visit today (3). The ship was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on her arrival.
Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain Mohammad HasanTarikue called on the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Travis Sinniah at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters followed by a cordial discussion. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this occasion.
During the stay crew of the Bangladesh, Coast Guard Ship is scheduled to participate in an array of programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy in view of strengthening the camaraderie between the two countries. The ship is due to leave Sri Lanka on 04th February.
