Ten Indian fishermen arrested for poaching in Sri Lankan waters

The Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest 10 Indian fishermen along with 2 Indian fishing trawlers poaching in Sri Lankan waters Northwest and North of Delft Island last evening (4). Having brought the arrested fishermen and their trawlers to the Naval Base SLNS Elara in Karainagar, they were handed over to the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Jaffna for onward action.
