Joint Christian Commemoration and Thanksgiving Service held in view of the 66th anniversary of the Navy
Sri Lanka Navy held a Joint Christian Commemoration and Thanksgiving Service at St. Lucia’s Cathedral in Colombo today (24) in view the Navy’s 66th anniversary, under the patronage of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne. Blessings were invoked on the Navy and naval personnel during the religious service conducted by the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith. Several former Navy Commanders, Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, the President of the Navy Christian Council, Rear Admiral Neil Rosayro, retired and serving senior naval officers and a large number of naval personnel also attended the service.
