Four persons arrested with dried turtle meat
 

Naval personnel attached to Naval Detachment of Negombo arrested 4 persons with 1.8 kg of dried turtle meat in Negombo Fisheries Harbour yesterday (8). The turtle meat was found from a multi-day fishing trawler during a search carried out by the naval personnel.

The arrested persons, dried turtle meat and trawler were handed over to Negombo Fisheries Director for further legal action.
