SLNS ‘Sayura’ and SLNS ‘Suranimala’ made their port of call at Cochin
SLNS ‘Sayura’ and SLNS ‘Suranimala’ which are on a 7-day training and goodwill visit to India, arrived at the Port of Cochin today (24). The two Sri Lankan ships were welcomed by the Indian Navy in accordance with naval traditions on their arrival.
Subsequently, the two Commanding Officers of the ships, Captain Prasanna Amaradasa and Captain Pujitha Vithana called on Chief of Staff for Southern Naval Command, Rear Admiral Ravindra Jayanti Nadkarni at the Southern Naval Command Headquarters and held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and bilateral importance. Mementos were also exchanged to mark this occasion.
