Commander of the Navy declares open Senior Officers' Holiday Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya
 

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne declared open a newly constructed Senior Officers' Holiday Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya yesterday (22). The new facility constructed in close proximity to the Lake 'Gregory', encompasses two rooms and all state of the art facilities.

The Mayor of Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council, Mr. Dodampe Gamage also attended this occasion and he was presented with a memento by Commander of the Navy. Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe, Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jayantha De Silva, Director Generals and a host of officers from the Western Naval Command were present on the occasion. Subsequently Commander of the Navy posed for a photograph with the sailors who contributed to the construction of this holiday bungalow.
