Navy recovers the dead body of a person died in a deep well
 

In response to a request made by Kankesanthurai Police, the Navy Divers attached to SLNS Uththara located in Kankesanthurai belonging to the Northern Naval Command, recovered the dead body of a male person aged 40, from a deep well in Thelippalai area yesterday (12). The person was succumbed to the inhalation of a poisonous gas while he was cleaning the well which is approximately 70 feet deep. Incidentally, the Navy Divers managed to recover the body having made a great effort, as the well was filled with toxic gas.

The body of the deceased person was handed over to Kankesanthurai Police for further investigations.
