Three Japanese naval ships arrive at the Port of Colombo
Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) Ships, “Kashima”, “Setoyuki” and “Asagiri”, arrived at the Port of Colombo on a goodwill and training visit this evening (7). They were welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on arrival. Prior to their departure on 12th October, the visiting Japanese ships are due to conduct Passage Exercises with SLN craft with a view to sharing professional expertise between the two friendly navies.
