A person is apprehended with prescription drugs in his possession
 

On receipt of intelligence tip-off, naval personnel attached to SLNS Kelani located in Uswetakeiyawa in the Western Naval Command, along with the officials of Drugs and Food Interactions Board and Gampaha Police apprehended a suspect with 10 boxes of prescription drugs (Tramadol) in his possession, in Seeduwa area yesterday (29). The medicine which is also used as an abused drug by some people, was made ready for selling by the suspect.

The apprehended person and the stock of drugs were handed over to Negombo Police for further investigations.
