Officers donate wheelchairs to the Navy
 

A group of naval officers who followed various courses at Wuhan University in China, donated 10 wheelchairs at the Naval Headquarters today (15). Accordingly, the wheelchairs were symbolically handed over to Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne. They are scheduled to be distributed among the naval personnel who were disabled during the war and the rest will be handed over to the naval hospitals. Thirteen officers including Lieutenant Commander WPHE Wickramasinghe had contributed for this magnanimous effort.
