Navy secures a number of victories at “Walawa Supercross 2016”
 

Motor cycle riders representing the Sri Lanka Navy secured a number of victories at the “Walawa Supercross 2016” motor cycle rally held at Sewanagala race track on 11^th September 2016. Thirteen riders represented the Navy in the competition organized by Sri Lanka Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Regiment and the Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Club.

Sri Lanka Navy’s Gayan Sandaruwan secured the 1^st place in 250 cc and 2^nd place in 250 racing events. Shanuka Sandaruwan won the 1^st place in standard 250 cc open and 2^nd place in 250 cc standard events. Meanwhile Sri Lanka Navy riders MN Perera and GRK Wijesekara managed to win the 2^nd place in the 125 cc forces and 3^rd place in 125 cc open events respectively.
