Afloat Command was crowned as the champions at the Inter Command Drill Competition - 2016

The Inter-Command Drill Competition - 2016 was held at SLNS Shiksha in Poonewa on 25^th August 2016. Commander North Central Naval Area, Commodore Merill Wickramasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. A large number of officers and sailors were also present to witness the competition.

The Afloat Command won the Championship with an excellent display of skills beating all other commands and received the champion’s trophy from Commodore Merill Wickramasinghe. The Training Command being the previous champions, secured the runners-up position this time. Lieutenant Niranjan Sirimalwaththa who commanded the Afloat Command team was adjudged the Best Commander of the Competition.
