Tennis coaching camp is held for members of naval families
 

Going by the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, a three-day Tennis coaching camp was organized with a view to improving the sporting skills of the members of the naval families. The coaching camp which imparted essential basics of the game to the participants was held on 22^nd, 23^rd and 24^th of this month at the Tennis Court of SLNS Gemunu.

This training session for the naval family members was conducted by Mr. RF Upul Priyantha who is a qualified level 2 coach in International Tennis Federation. The event which was organized under the supervision of the President of Sri Lanka Navy Tennis Pool, Captain Pradeep Karunathilake, provided an invaluable platform for the members of naval families to sharpen their sporting competencies.
