Director General of the Indian Coast Guard Calls on Commander of the Navy
The Director General of the Indian Coastguard, Director General Rajendra Singh paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters today (19). Director General of the Indian Coastguard was awarded with a Guard of Honour on his arrival.
They held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interests and bilateral importance highlighting the historic ties and cooperation between the two countries. Director Generals, Senior Officers of the Naval Headquarters and The Defence Advisor of the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Captain Prakash Gopalan were also present on the occasion. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the event.
