Bangladesh National Defence College Delegation pays a visit to the Naval Headquarters
 

A high-level delegation of Bangladesh National Defence College, headed by Major General Hamidur Rahman Chowdhury paid an official visit to the Naval Headquarters and called on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne today (16). The Bangladesh officials held cordial discussions with Commander of the Navy during the meeting.

Subsequently, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe delivered a comprehensive presentation on the organizational structure of the Sri Lanka Navy and its operational readiness. The 23 -member delegation which is on an official visit to Sri Lanka, is scheduled to visit many military establishments across the country during their stay in Sri Lanka. The occasion was attended by senior officers from the Naval Headquarters and Defence Advisor of the Bangladesh High Commission in Sri Lanka, Commodore Aslam Parvez. Mementos were also exchanged to mark this occasion.
